But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
(1Ti 6:6-8)
I've heard it from many people that life in America has gone to crap. It's much harder to buy a house, start a family, have a great life, etc.
OK, here are some notes. Why does it matter if you can or cannot buy a house, or have a great life? Starting a family is reasonable under certain circumstances (verses), but still, this is not our world. This world is not our home. Who cares what kind of luxuries await or not await us? Nearly everyone in this world is going to Hell anyway!
(honestly, it's much better if I make a video or a podcast about this, because I have so much to say about this, that I can't fit it into words, similar to what John said when he said:
2Jn 1:12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full. )
